Imagine you've just come up with the perfect idea. You want to set up a haunted house setting for your short film, feature, or commercial, without destroying the location you've scouted. Or you need to turn a modern office suite into a detective’s squad room but have no idea where to begin. Do you need help with the colors or overall artistic decisions on your music video or experimental film? That's where I come in.
The parameters of my work are wide and constantly in flux, and that is the best part of being an Art Director. Before I arrived in the US, I began my career in Argentina on the corporate side of things, as a commercial supervisor at Santander and Boston Banks and a sales rep for Toyota Tsusho. Needing a more creative outlet, I turned to the creative side and worked with creative, design, and advertising agencies such as Abra Casa interior landscaping company, Agency Lado C Argentina, and Estudio Creativo 1431. All of these experiences have given me a broad foundation of skills I constantly apply to new projects. With a constant eye on maximizing my department's budget, I turn ideas into physical realities. Sometimes I select the perfect furniture, wall dressings, graphics, or rugs. Sometimes I create them from scratch or commission a particular prop from artisans. Sometimes I'm scouting a location, building a set from scratch, or transforming a space into a different time and place. I love to wear many hats, combining my artistic talents with my organizational and interpersonal skills in order to create movie magic! This portfolio is just a sampling of my work. I've included the status of the project and some behind the scenes photos to give you a sense of each piece, whether or not it made it to post-production. I look forward to collaborating with you soon.
